Reliance officially launched its online grocery delivery service JioMart accross 200+cities and towns.
RIL(Reliance Industries Ltd) has officially launched it's online grocery service JioMart across 200 cities and towns in India.The company is now operational in Mumbai,Chennai,kolkata,Hyderabad,
Delhi,Bengaluru,jaipur,Trivandrum and some other cities also.The JioMart website is now live after running a pilot for limited pin codes in mumbai.
JioMart website has detailed essential grocery,FMCG goods.The company also teamed up with farmers to source selling vegetables and fruits.The Product catalogue on JioMart's website would be increased after lockdown condition are reduced.Customer can log on to JioMart.com to place an order,but the app is not live yet,it may work soon.
Reliance JioMart,will give tough competition to its rivals like Amazon India,Flipkart,Grofers and the small delivery players.As we already know that Reliance Jio is disturbing the Telecom sector and presence the largest offline retailer having 11784 stores and huge amount of user base in the Jio platform.
We,ve seen that facebook has ties with Reliance,the company is also proposed to utilise Facebook-owned services like whatsapp,Messenger and facebook app to incorporate shopping feature and reach a large amount of user base.The Company confirmed that its messaging service whatsapp had 400 million users in India as of july 2019.Now JioMart its Whatsapp Business Account,enabling people to track their order and invoice directly on their messenger app.
As we know that,The Prime Minister already announced'vocal for local' mights also drive more customers towards the JioMart and it has grown as one of the biggest indian brand.
