Google Duo likely to allow users to make group calls on Google Chrome

Google Duo will allow users to make video calls on Google Chrome.
Google increased the limit for group calls from 8 to 12 people.



Google reveals that Google Duo which is used for video chat in company’s takes accessibility to ensure their video chat on the web. For using Google Duo you should have a google account to access this service but those who don’t have a Google account are not taking advantage of this app. This feature will be launch out on Chrome in few weeks as a demo or trial base. This app will contains a family mode feature.  Using Family Mode users will draw on the screen and adds masks and effects in present time as well. You can use this mode if you are signed in to your google account by Google Duo otherwise you don’t access this mode. This app will also have a facility to hide mute button and hang out button to allow the users to draw and enjoying this while suddenly disconnecting a call.


Now it also has a new “Family Mode” feature in Duo, which lets you draw on the screen in the real time and apply Snapchat-like masks and effects on Yourself. Last month, Google said it would be rolling out the AV1 video codec to Duo calls to improve video call quality, introducing a side-by-side photo mode, and upping the Duo group call size from eight to 12.
