Firewall:A firewall is a network security device which is used to prevent unauthorized access from private or public network to users.Firewall decides whom to allow or whom to block on the basis of security policies that is implemented by Network Administrator.
Firewall is available in market is Hardware and Software platform
Hardware Firewall:Cisco ASA,Palo Alto etc.
Software Firewall:Check point.
NIC(Network Interface Card):It converts digital signal into type of media using.As you all know when we are inserting a LAN cable on comuter system their is a port(RJ 45 Port) its a LAN Card,without LAN card we can't run Internet.
Now a days LAN Card is inbuilt in a computer system we don't to buy it from market.

Coaxial Cable is earlier used for data transmission but the speed of the cable is very slow and performances is also very low.
